Arthur Ehoff – officially now retired

Many of you will know and may have worked with Arthur during the many decades he has worked in the industry.

I first met Arthur some years ago when we both worked for Clynol. I was initially attracted to his passion for the industry, his marvellous personality, and his total commitment to the professional side of our sector.

He has sat on the Hair and Barber Council for many years and again was totally committed to the causes of the Council and all that we represented.

Sadly, I recently had a call from him to say that he was now fully retired, wasn’t working with L’Oreal in any capacity anymore, as such he would be retiring from the Council.

In my opinion, Arthur will leave a huge gap in our sector, he was without doubt one of our industries true characters, with his many stories and quick wit and I would like to offer my sincere thanks to him for his many years of committed service to the Council, the industry and to me personally as a friend.

I am awaiting Contact from L’Oreal as to who they would like to sit on the Council in his place, but it surely won’t be another Arthur……one of a kind!
